Disaster response

Hurricane Isaias

Storm-damaged trees can leave a yard difficult to use long after the weather clears. These photos document H&L's Hurricane Isaias response, including tree work beside homes, broken trunks along fence lines and cleanup in waterfront yards.

Tree work after the storm

The damage extends beyond what's on the ground.

The photographs show long sections of broken pine extending over lawns and fences, branches caught among surrounding trees, and residential work close to roofs and landscaping. Those details matter when looking at a storm cleanup job: a trunk's position, the space around it and access for equipment all affect the work involved.

Our response photos include bucket-truck access beside homes, crew members working at ground level, and cut wood and branches in the work area. Browse the sets below for a closer look at the conditions and work shown.

Response photos

Tree work close to homes

A roofline, hedge and driveway leave different access options than an open lot. These photos show bucket-truck positioning beside a house and ground work among cut logs and branches. Select any photo to view it at a larger size.

Waterfront properties

Broken trunks across yards and fences

In this set, a damaged pine stretches across the lawn near patio steps, a metal fence and surrounding trees. Several views show how far the upper branches reach beyond the broken trunk. The wider photographs also show the waterfront edge and the space around the work area.

At ground level

Working through the tree debris

Cutting a damaged tree leaves wood of very different sizes to handle. These photographs show trunk sections, smaller limbs and brush around the crew's work area. They also show the fences and neighboring trees that remain close to the work.

Storm cleanup questions

Can H&L help with a tree that's still standing?

Does storm cleanup include hauling tree debris?

Our storm damage service includes cutting, gathering and hauling tree debris from the work area. At the quote, point out the branches, logs and any other material you want addressed so the scope is clear.

What determines the scope of a storm cleanup job?

The amount of wood, whether material is still overhead, nearby structures and access for equipment all matter. A few photos can help us understand the situation, and we provide a free on-site quote before you decide.
